Section 201.619 of the Texas Transportation Code allows TxDOT and a county to enter into an agreement that identifies future transportation corridors within the county in accordance with this subsection. The corridors identified in the agreement must be derived from existing transportation plans adopted by the department or commission, the county, or a metropolitan planning organization.
County Corridor Agreements keep property owners, developers, and the general public informed of future transportation plans, allowing for educated development decisions. They also give a county the flexibility to require certain planned transportation corridors to be shown on subdivision plats.
Entering into a Corridor Agreement will be considered by Burnet County Commissioners along with the adoption of this plan.

Click anywhere on the map to mark a specific intersection or stretch of road, then describe any issues or needed changes. When you click "Save pin", the location and your comments will be sent to the planning team. Add as many pins as you want. You will only be able to view the pins you add in the current session. Even though you will not see your added pins when you come back to the site after leaving it, your pins have already been sent to the team and you may add more pins at any time.
Tell us what you think of the draft projects or areas of additonal need.
